Pf2e Ignition
So there's been a lot of consternation about ignition,. Webignition's persistent damage scales better on crits: If the target is within your melee reach, you can choose to make a melee spell attack with the flame. Webignition ranged damage did get nerfed, no question. The pc has that spell in his old sheet, and also on his pathbuilder.
But rather than that being the primary usecase for the spell compared to melee, melee ignition is now the primary usecase: At level 7, for example, ignition deals 4d6 (14) persistent fire damage on a crit, whereas gouging claw would only deal 10 bleed.
